What’s for dinner on Tuesday?

French Fried Onion Chicken

This is a new recipe for dinner this week.

We had french fried onion chicken, baked beans and potato salad. It was a big hit!

French Fried Onion Chicken (Taken from the French Fried Onion Package)

  • 1lb chicken
  • 2tbsp flour
  • 2 cups french fried onions
  • 1 egg
  • zip lock bag

In a zip lock bag mix flour and french fried onions. Crush mixture until smooth. Beat egg in a bowl. Place chicken in bowl with egg and mix around, then place into zip lock bag and mix in french fried onion mixture. Place chicken on baking sheet and bake for approximately 30 minutes at 400 degrees. If you notice the french fried onions starting to get a little to brown during baking, you may need to place some aluminum foil over the top while it finishes baking.

Baked Beans

  • Large can of baked beans
  • 1/2 c Ketchup
  • 1/4 c brown sugar

Put the can of baked beans in a baking dish, mix in 1/2 cup of ketchup and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 30 min with chicken.

Potato Salad

  • I bought it premade at the grocery store!

Happy Cooking,
